Inclusive education is an essential component of equitable educational systems, ensuring that all students, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, have access to high-quality education. By examining the existing policies, infrastructure, and attitudes toward students with special needs, the paper aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the state of inclusive education in the country. It discusses the roles of teachers, parents, and policymakers in creating an inclusive environment and emphasizes the need for systematic changes to support the integration of students with special needs. The findings suggest that while there has been progress in the area of inclusive education, significant challenges remain, including inadequate resources, teacher training, and societal attitudes. This paper concludes with a set of recommendations for improving inclusive education in Pakistan, ensuring that students with special needs can thrive in an equitable learning environment.
