Abstract

Critical thinking (CT) is an essential skill for students' academic success and personal development, enabling them to analyze, evaluate, and create innovative solutions to problems. This article examines the pedagogical approaches that can effectively enhance critical thinking in students, with a particular focus on techniques applied in Pakistani educational settings. It discusses a range of instructional methods, including inquiry-based learning, problem-solving strategies, and collaborative learning. The article highlights the role of teachers in fostering an environment conducive to critical thinking, emphasizing the importance of developing assessment strategies that promote reflective thinking. This research incorporates examples from Pakistani educational institutions, examining the challenges faced by educators and the potential solutions to overcome them. The paper concludes with recommendations for integrating critical thinking into curricula at various educational levels.
